G5 Map is a workforce field-tracking application provided to employees and authorised personnel of the Company and its associated organisations.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
G5 Map is an employee/workforce application. Accounts are created and managed by an administrator at your organisation. The App is used to record work attendance and to track work-related travel routes and distance during active work shifts.
With your permission, the App collects your device's precise and approximate location. Location is collected during an active work shift — that is, after you "punch in" and until you "punch out" — and this collection continues while the App is in the background, while your screen is locked, and while the App is not open.
We collect location in the background so that your work route and the distance you travel during a shift can be recorded accurately for your employer, even when you are not actively looking at your phone. A persistent notification is shown on your device while location tracking is active, so you are always aware when tracking is running.
Location is not collected before you punch in or after you punch out.
When you punch in and punch out, the App captures a selfie (to confirm identity) and a photograph of your vehicle odometer (to record the odometer reading).
Your name, phone number, and email address (where provided), and your assigned role and work location, as set up by your administrator.
A device identifier, device battery level, and basic device/network status, used to operate tracking reliably and associate records with the correct device.
The start and end odometer readings you enter during punch-in and punch-out.
In-app messages exchanged between you and your manager within the App, and a push notification token used to deliver notifications to your device.

Information may be disclosed where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
We retain your work records (including location routes, attendance records, photographs, and odometer readings) for as long as necessary for the Company's record-keeping, operational, and legal requirements, and then delete or anonymise them in accordance with the Company's retention practices.
G5 Map is intended for use by employees and authorised adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
